  1. Disappointing loss especially after climbing back in the game the pawn push seemed a blunder as you stated overall I heard Alireza played really well against Hikaru but Hikaru ran off with 4 wins at the end of the match I’m Glad for Hikaru playing so well they’ll be other matches for Alireza to win

  2. Nobody is talking about the interface…

Agad I think you need to keep it this way, I prefer the interface like this, just my 2c

  3. I do enjoy seeing the game come to an end.

  4. Thank you for bringing back your traditional format agad, I much prefer it!

  5. I love it when you finish the games. I don't always know the reason why there is nothing more to be done here lol

  6. Thank you for finishing the game 👍🏼

  7. Side question, who is the best bullet player in the world in comparison to their classical rating ?

I would posit that one way to interpret "best" would be "the person who receives the most benefit from this particular format".

I don't know the answer btw. Its just, Magnus is the best player on the planet in general, anyway. It somewhat effects how you view his talent for bullet specifically. Daniel Naroditsky wouldn't have a ghost of a chance playing a set of classical against Magnus, but on any given day has a shot at winning bullet. Clearly Danya receives more benefit from bullet than Magnus does. Obviously Magnus is overall going to win at bullet as well once enough games are played. The point is, when you add qualifiers to the question of "best" there suddenly becomes a wide variety of ways to look at the question.

  8. Watching agadmator finish a game is one of the things that got me hooked up to his channel, have always enjoyed it

  9. i think this interface is better than the new one .. please stick to it

  10. Quick mention about revealing who wins when the video starts… i also do not like it and i would apreciate it if you will not reveal the winner before the game comes to an end. Thank you!

  11. It is awesome when the games go to their end!!! Every good story has it's ending… and good story telling is the most appreciated!!!

  12. I think you're right about the relative order of these three players. The fact Hikaru can win a match vs Alireza while commentating on his own game boggles the mind…

  13. I am one of those who enjoy seeing the finish of the game

  14. Hikaru defeated Magnus to win it all hoping you can show one of those games Agadmator it’s only Right since Hikaru kept his title and defeated Mighty Magnus in the process

  15. Hikaru is #1 in speed chess and #2 is classical

  16. I’m just surprised Alireza missed the knight Check and losing his Queen nice move by Hikaru capturing the Knight with his Rook one player misses a move the other nails it

  17. Is it possible to show the actual game? Are you allowed? With such a short time format it would be nice to see at the end of your excellent commentary exactly how quick the game actually was

  18. I vote for this "new" old interface. I don't now, I'm an old school guy who likes it wooden.

  19. No normal person plays the end-game like that, we all try to promote all three pawns to queen and end up with stalemate.

  20. Nakamura plays the Vienna Game a lot in faster time formats

  21. I’m one of the guys who likes it when you finish the game.

  22. According to Magnus, Nakamura is too fast and too strong for him, way way stronger.

I think he was exxagerating, yes, Nakamura é better, but not by that much.

  23. Alireza says “ it’s still early, we’re going to see what happens”
Agad says “yeah, I don’t know”

I don’t know why this struck me as funny… funny. 😂

  24. Finishing the game to checkmate is just a learning moment for all the kids that watch. It’s a good thing, my kids/students love it!

  25. I like it if you spoiler we long you dont do it always, makes it more peaceful to calculate. Sadly that people always need to cry, especially these who reading comments before looking video

  26. #suggestion -Maybe for bullet games, at the end of the video show all the moves again IN REAL TIME! If that's possible. It would be really interesting to see just how fast these guys play such accurate games. Thanks for all the great videos!

  27. Definitely a good call by saying Hikaru is the best!!

  28. Please keep finishing the games for us. Sometimes I can see the futility of playing on, but not always by a considerable margin.

  29. its not about chess. Bullet chess. When you said you can't play the Evans gambit here, I expected you would continue "because you will knock the knight over after going from the pawn to the clock". Sorry twitch chess is more like it. But sure lets see who can move his hands faster. /yeah sorry suddenly don't feel like watching anymore of this [stopped watching at 2:26]

  30. Nic (J Bruce Feynman Niccolo P. Bentulan) says:

    1st – Alice Lee beat Wesley So…

…'s girlfriend Carissa Yip in 2023 USCC girls juniors #suggestion

Carissa is underperforming and even lost to a WGM because Carissa is distracted by a secret relationship with Wesley So that started in the 2022 Olympiad. Look at Carissa's X header.

Notice both of them are defending champions but then underperform in their 1st tournaments after the Olympiad.

    Carissa Yip

    2021 USCC women's – winner
2022 USCC girls juniors – didn't play but would've easily won if not for playing in 2022 USCC juniors instead
2023 USCC girls juniors – only 3rd place (should be 2nd minimum)

    Wesley So

    2019 classical WFRCC – winner
    2021 9LX – 2nd place
    2021 USCC – winner
    2022 9LX – only 5th place
    2022 USCC – only 5th-6th place
2022 rapid WFRCC – only 6th place (should be 4th minimum; also for other 2)

    2nd – Timestamps

Why not let viewers make timestamps in comments then you can pin the best timestamp comment and copy the timestamps to the video description? #suggestion

    3rd – magnus cheats anish

    in round 7 superbet blitz 2023 –> 3:22:36 in 8gw7XDq87C4 #suggestion

    4th – Philippine women's chess 2022 WFRCC #suggestion

WGM Janelle Frayna, the 1st and only Philippine WGM, upset Georgian GM (really GM not just WGM) Bela Khotenashvili at the 2022 world blitz.

    There's a 13-move UNDERPROMOTION puzzle here.

    [Variant "From Position"]

    [FEN "6k1/6b1/1p1P3p/6pP/3pPpP1/p2NqP2/6K1/5Q2"]

    1. Qd1 a2 2. Qb3+ Kf8 3. d7 Qe2+ 4. Nf2 Ke7 5. Qd5 Kd8 6. Qe6 Bf6 7. Qe8+ Kc7 8. Qc8+ Kd6 9. e5+ Qxe5 10. d8=R+ Bxd8 11. Qxd8+ Kc6 12. Qa8+ Kb5 13. Qxa2

For some reason none of the Philippine channels except Kelvinllovejr even cover this game. LOL. But Janelle did cover the game where e drew against Nemo, so maybe Janelle will cover this game later on.

P.S. Please help get Wesley So on Lex Fridman's podcast. See
