@8:17 when your opponent played a4, you should have played c4 (which is explosive) forking the queen and bishop in which you d5 pawn would protect c4

at 2:59 your opponent could have gained an advantage if he took the queen. Then you take back with the king and then he moves the knight to f7 for a triple attack on the king, rook and bishop. I am not to sure what to take there as i was your opponent, but probably the bishop as it is a free piece. If you take the rook there you loose your bishop and your knight can be useless if it is stuck in that corner.
